Ames Avenue Safe Mobility Recovery Plan
The City of Omaha was awarded a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Grant from the US Department of Transportation to develop a plan to improve safe multimodal transportation for vulnerable road users through a corridor-wide, safe system approach to planning and implementation on Ames Avenue. The project will develop an ultimate vision for transportation infrastructure on the corridor spanning from Florence Boulevard to 72nd Street and will evaluate the potential impacts to various alternatives to the built and natural environment.
